I’m so thrilled that we are restarting various services again after a long break. After delivering weekly meals for the past 6 months our lunch club is restarting this week at the Community Centre. It will be wonderful to see everyone again. Our face to face IT coaching resumes from September, and our Wednesday morning transport service is now running. Call Sheridan to find out more.

We have some fabulous entertainment lined up for our Christmas party this year! This is a free event, with a full afternoon tea, lots of fun and a visit from Father Christmas. Tuesday 17th December, 2-4.30pm, at the Community Centre, Petersfield. Places need to be booked so please call Sheridan on 07852 172998 to reserve a place.
The more people that have a greater understanding of how it is to live with dementia, the more they can make Petersfield a dementia friendly place to be. We are so thrilled that 17 people from Age Concern Petersfield and others from the town came along to our dementia information sessions earlier this month. Thanks go to Ruth (one of our trustees and a dementia champion) that ran these for us.
Thank you to all of the walkers who turned up to support Age Concern Petersfield at this annual event put on by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Elders Association. This event raises funds for local charities and we were thrilled to take part this year. After a sunny walk through Petersfield with nearly 400 others, we were treated to a curry.
Wow wow wow. We cannot thank the organisers enough for developing their idea into a fully blown exhibition of arts and crafts for the over 60s. It was just amazing to see the talent on show and it was lovingly put together with so much heart. The amazing team ran the exhibition over the May bank holiday weekend and had hundreds of visitors and raised £600 for Age Concern Petersfield. Thank you!
We're holding a coffee morning on Saturday 16th Feb, 10-12noon. If you'd like to get out and about more, or need some help at home, then come and have a chat over a cuppa and cake to find out about our activities and services, and pick up our outings programme. All welcome. See you at the Winton House Centre, 18 High Street, Petersfield.
