Come and eat cake at our Macmillan Coffee Morning on Wednesday 13th October, 10-12noon, at the Winton House Centre. This is a joint event with ourselves and Winton House to raise much needed funds for crucial cancer care and support. All welcome.

What a wonderful Sunday afternoon we had with our amazing team of lockdown volunteers. The BBQ and drinks party was a year late, but well worth the wait to say a heartfelt thank you to the team. They enabled us to help so many people during what was for some a very scary and lonely time.

Our Autumn outings programme is now out with Christmas themed trips to the theatre in Bognor Regis, a Christmas afternoon tea, and a carol concert in Guildford Cathedral. Places are limited so do please book early.

We are delighted that our twice weekly lunch club will resume on Tuesday 31st August, 12 noon, at the Community Centre. Marian our cook creates delicious meals, two courses freshly cooked, for £5. Transport can be arranged. Just give us a call if you would like to come along. All welcome.

Our outings programme was kickstarted with an afternoon trip to Bosham Harbour. Terry our driver took the scenic route and everyone enjoyed the quayside walks and views, as well as a cafe stop. See our outings page for a copy of our summer programme.

It was fantastic to see so many at our afternoon tea. Many of us haven’t seen each other for over a year so it was really great to catch up. We had delicious home made cakes, scones and plenty of chat in the lovely bright room at Winton House.

We are delighted to be restarting our transport into town service on a Wednesday morning. £2 return for a doorstep minibus service into town with our friendly and helpful drivers. Have a mooch round town, meet friends, do your shopping and then get a ride home. Contact us for more details.

I’m so thrilled that we are restarting various services again after a long break. After delivering weekly meals for the past 6 months our lunch club is restarting this week at the Community Centre. It will be wonderful to see everyone again. Our face to face IT coaching resumes from September, and our Wednesday morning transport service is now running. Call Sheridan to find out more.
